Happy Holidays!

The class and I had a very busy, fun-filled short week of school before holiday break.

We decorated the front of our holiday cards for families and wrote a special letter on the inside. 

We hope you liked our handmade ornaments!

Our third grade buddies helped us write letters to Santa.

All of the kindergarten classes had a pizza party to celebrate having the most participation during our Read-A-Thon back in October. Yummy!

We went outside and roasted marshmallows (safely) by the fire.

And we frosted and decorated sugar cookies later that afternoon!

The class was sad to see Chippy the Elf go, but I told them it isn't goodbye, it's "see you later" because he seems to come back every December. When they are big 1st graders next school year, they can come say hi to him! Here's a look at some of his last kooky hiding places.
